Trustees Meeting 2023

The Trustees’ meeting held on 16th November 2023 considered applications submitted and will be contacting successful applicants shortly.

Trustees regret that after detailed review, they will be unable to consider any applications from NEW charities in 2024, except those from charities they have supported previously. This is due to continuing uncertainty in the stock market and a significant increase in the number of applicants. Trustees wish to protect the capital value of their fund and in so doing also protect John Horniman’s original concern for the health and well-being of children who are sick or have learning difficulties.

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund

Trustees are pleased to support your programme of support for babies and children across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire with congenital heart disease who are treated at Leeds Congenital Heart Unit. We make a grant towards your annual programme for young patients in 2023, supporting their emotional and physical wellbeing during and after their treatment in hospital.
