Arts Depot

Trustees were pleased to learn of the continuing programme of imaginative and inclusive events that are held at The Arts Depot in Barnet to enhance the lives of disadvantaged young people. We are pleased to be able to offer a grant to support the programme of vocational education followed by work experience placements with your partner organisations, for ten students aged between 16 and 19 from local SEN schools.

Theodora Children’s Charity

Trustees are pleased to award a grant towards the cost of the Giggle Doctor programme at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The programme aims to improve a child’s experience of hospital.

Sea Change Trust

Trustees are delighted to read that this charity has been started out of a Quakerly concern for the plight of unaccompanied and asylum-seeking children in Shropshire with orientation issues.

City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra

Trustees are pleased to award a grant to train musicians and deliver 6 music therapy sessions for children with special needs in the Birmingham area.

Horniman Museum & Gardens

Trustees are pleased to award a grant for the Museum’s programme Bright and Early that will allow autistic children to visit and enjoy the museum at times when they will feel safe and secure as well as for the Music Workshops for families with children on the autistic spectrum.

Brighton Dome & Brighton Trust

Trustees are pleased to award a grant specifically for use in the Umbrella Club as part of a programme to provide respite care to children with life-threatening conditions at three events in Brighton

Jessie May Children’s Hospice

Trustees are pleased to award a grant for the Hospice at Home programme which is undertaken by specially trained nurses. We hope our grant will enable 25 families in the Bristol area to benefit from the respite care on offer.
